earlier Gizmodo posted an entry revealing a new design patten for the iMac allowing it to be position so that the display panel can be used as a touch surface.
this week Gizmodo posted an entry detailing the next Mac OS - 10.7 (Lion?). the new gimmick with the OS? mutli-touch capability. i'm not entirely sure how i feel about this, but a new OS is always good news. and not since Tiger has Apple promoted a better feline. both of my Mac Minis came with Tiger, and based on promotional images it's quite possible my next Mac may run this new "Lion" OS.
Oct 20 is the next Apple event that will reveal more details about this, and perhaps a few other product announcements. i'll be checking out the coverage, and probably have a lengthy discussion afterwards with my best friend over it.
i hope to give my thoughts about it sometime after the event.
