Otakon 2008 AMV [no] Contest.

it is with a heavy heart that i must inform to all of you that my AMV, Dyson's Revelation, did not make it as a finalist in this years Otakon AMV contest. follow this link to the result page.

well it was fun and a little nerve racking anticipating for the results - i must admit i had thought i had a really good shot at it - but now that the wait it over, i can just look forward to watching my AMV during the overflow. plus there's the rest of the con to enjoy. oh, and the dealer's room. **salivating**

mucho congrats to the winners, and for the rest of us lets keep contributing.

Introducing ARIELISTIX Media!

i don't look at myself as a content creator, but i'm enjoying piecing together my video projects, not just AMVs, but home movies as well. and recently i was able to arrange a simple little tune within Apple's GarageBand. with all this i wanted a way to share all this goodness with my friends and perhaps the world as well. so being a google-ite, i found out about a service called Google Sites that allows users to put together a simple web site using some pretty common elements that typically make up a site. i was particularly interested in one element that will allow me to upload content so that others, who visit my site, may download them. so allow me to introduce ARIELISTIX Media! as of now the storage is limited to 100MB. so far all i have uploaded is my tune from GarageBand. i'm working on another simple tunage to upload. hopefully in the future Google will increase this space and i can uploaded some of my video projects.

here is the link to my site.

Chillin' with Apple's GarageBand

so last night i was a little bored and decided (for some strange reason) to play around with Apple's GarageBand (GB) app. somehow i started with a project with a tempo setting of 128bpm and ended with this 89bpm chill piece. and i have to say that working with GB became a little addictive once the arrangement starting to take shape.

i'll write more about it later, until then enjoy.
